"Didn't Read Facebook's Fine Print? Here's exactly What it Says"

http://www.daytondailynews.com/videos/news/didnt-read-facebooks-fine-print-heres-exactly-what/vCj7N4/

The Huff Post recently wrote an article and released the video, "Didn't Read Facebook's Fine Print? Here's Exactly What it says," revealing what most people on social media neglect to stop and look at; terms and conditions or the fine print. The article basically breaks down what you are agreeing to. I know that from personal experience every time I am activating a new social media account I completely ignore what the Terms and Conditions state I basically just Skip past all of it due to laziness but according to Huff Post it would take the average American 76 working days to read the entire Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy you are agreeing to before making a Facebook account. So for those of you who are interested in finding out what you are agreeing to you might want to take break from your everyday job to read the fine print. You also agree to even if you are a private user that Facebook is aloud to basically sell your information and search history with advertisers. Also Facebook has a history of any posts that you wanted to post but decided against. So next time when you think you clicked on the Private settings just remember everything is not really private.

Meth Project

Published by Montana Meth Project
The above picture shows two younger looking girls who seem to be healthy but a little disheveled and messy and one of them holding lipstick, the picture also explains how the girls would share everything and now they both share a common disease which is H.I.V. Although this is supposed to be an announcement about the drug Meth and how you should not try it even once there is more then one message being stated. The audience that the Montana Meth Project is trying to speak to is the younger generation specifically teens, they are trying to spread the message that trying Meth is not just bad for the obvious reasons but also for the not so obvious ones such as diseases. Although this picture does not actually show anyone doing meth or dying from the drug; the words give a message that is very helpful in proving a point which is that meth can kill you in all kinds of ways.

Cox Communications | Cox Gigablast TV Commercial

In early January of 2015 Cox Communications release this Gigablast commercial.  I feel as if basically the whole world has watched or heard of this commercial over a hundred times. Throughout the commercial people talk about and show what they are going to do with the Gig life,  all the ideas seem very interesting but not very realistic. Cox definitely got people talking about thus commercial but do people really know the purpose of it?  I think we all know that it is an advertisement for Com Communications and the powerful internet services but do we really know what Gigablast is?  I could sing the whole backwards word for word but for some reason I still have a hard time figuring out what I am supposed to get out of this commercial . In my opinion this commercial does not clearly tell what Gigablast is and how I am able to get 3D printed food.

The Story of Jazz

Jazz Jennings is a fourteen year old girl from Southern Florida who was one of the youngest children to be pronounced as gender dysphoric at the age of two. Jazz was born a male but felt as if she was supposed to be a girl. According to jazz she never felt as if she was a boy and always felt that she was lying by saying she was a male. For many people around the world being gender dysphoric is seen as very shameful and should be stopped. Although Jazz is only fourteen years old she is causing a lot of people to talk about the future. People are beginning to become fearful for their children and are starting to threaten  people that are transgender. Jazz and many other transgenders are not given the same rights as heterosexual person would receive this is causing a disturbance in the transgender community. Even though there are many break throughs that are happening around the world to help transgender there are still people out there that are against everything that it stands for. People need to become more aware of the situation so we can come together and be equals.

What Women Once Were

Volkswagen add (1960's)
The picture above is a real advertisement put out by Volkswagen in the 1960's, the advertisement talks about how women are bad driver and who are more likely to crash the new car when they are out doing errands then a man and hoe it is not the en of the world.

For years women have been making at break throughs worldwide and have been inventing and discovering things that men have not yet found. Although today women are aloud to vote, work outside of the home and even run for president today; woman did not always have it so good. In previous generations women's jobs were to get married have kids and take care of the home while the husband was off at work.  For years women were seen as the useless partner in the relationship, the one who is not bringing home a pay check and the one who does not have to go to work all day like the men do. When in reality it was true women were not bringing home the checks or having to travel to work like the men were. Women were doing what some would call as the hardest job in the world which is being a mom.The women were making all the doctors appointments, packing the kids lunches, waking up to screaming babies at two o' clock in the morning, making every meal for everyone in the family and making sure the house it sparkling clean at all times. I know that they are not exactly getting payed for what they do but to me making appointments, packing lunches, waking up to babies and making every meals work to me. Why is it that for years women were limited on what they could do  and when they could do it if for years they have been doing things men would't do?

Closed mind v.s Open mind

For years students have been dreading going back to school for all different kinds of reasons. But I find that people with an open mind set have more of a chance for a successful future. As a student I often hear my pears say, "Oh well I'm not really sure what I want to do, I'm really just going to school because my parents want me to ," yes I know that a higher education is not for everyone and that not everyone has the opportunity to go, but for those that do shouldn't they take advantage? What todays society needs to realize is that the problem is not the schooling system that needs to change it is the students that are unwilling to learn. The students have the power to have an open or closed mind it is their decision to decide.
“Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.”
― Benjamin Franklin

Today's generation is all about starting from the bottom and ending on top when in reality most of the students today do not want to do what it takes to get there. Kids today always want to find the easy way out it's easy when we live in a world where copy and paste is only a click away, and where texts books are no longer needed because we all have smart phones. It's sad to say but kids today are more wrapped up in becoming rich and famous and would rather have a life that you need money and fame to be happy. In todays society having a good education and being able to have a good job is no longer considered being successful, being successful is getting all the girls and living it up while you are young. As students we need to step up and not let go of ourselves and our dreams we need to work hard and not take the easy way out.
